Join us for an inspiring guided tour of Kosta Glassworks, where over 280 years of history, craftsmanship, and innovation come to life. Here, you’ll learn the story of how one of Sweden’s oldest glassworks was founded and how molten glass is still shaped into unique works of art today.
Welcome to a lively guided tour through the history of Kosta Glassworks, led by Lieutenant Anders Koskull - one of the founders of the factory, who takes you back to the time when it all began. Here you will hear the story of how Kosta grew up in the Småland forests, about the people behind the glass and about the craft that still lives on today in world class.
We meet in Kosta Boda Art Gallery where the evening begins with a glass of bubbly before we step into history together.
An atmospheric and inspiring experience where history, culture and glassblowing meet - in the middle of Kosta.
