The Glass Factory is one of Sweden’s largest glass museums, where you can explore the history of the Kingdom of Crystal from its beginnings to the present day. Here, you’ll also find exhibitions and Sweden’s largest collection of both utility glass and art glass. You are warmly welcome to step into the hot shop, where creativity is always flowing.
The Glass Factory is an active and creative glass museum where Swedish glass history meets contemporary art and design. Several artists and designers have their studios at The Glass Factory, as it offers great opportunities to explore different techniques and contribute to the ongoing development of glass craftsmanship.
Here, boundaries are pushed while serving as a vibrant meeting place for creativity. The museum showcases an extensive collection of glass objects from well-known glassworks and designers, alongside temporary exhibitions that continuously renew the visitor experience. It is a destination that appeals to both curious visitors and passionate glass enthusiasts.
In the active hot shop, visitors can watch glassblowers at work and see how glowing molten glass is shaped into both art pieces and functional glassware. The live production creates a unique atmosphere and offers a deeper understanding of the craft’s techniques, traditions, and creativity.

Free admission for children under 15 when accompanied by an adult. Annual passes and group discounts are available for purchase on site. A shop and café are located directly next to the museum.
